View IS-IS Adjacencies
Use the following procedure to display IS-IS adjacency information. The platform sends IS-IS Hello (IIH) packets to discover IS-IS neighbors and establish and maintain IS-IS adjacencies. The platform continues to send IIH packets to maintain the established adjacencies. For two nodes to form an adjacency the B-VLAN pairs for the primary B-VLAN and secondary B-VLAN must match.
Procedure
- In the navigation pane, expand .
- Select IS-IS.
- Select the Adjacency tab.
Adjacency Field Descriptions
Use the data in the following table to use the Adjacency tab.
Name |
Description |
---|---|
Interface |
Specifies the IS-IS interface on which the adjacency is found. |
Level |
Indicates the level of the IS-IS interface (Level 1 [default] or Level 2). |
State |
Specifies the state of the adjacency:
|
LastUpTime |
Indicates when the adjacency most recently entered the state up, measured in hundredths of a second since the last re-initialization of the network management subsystem. Displays 0 if the adjacency has never been in state up. |
NeighPriority |
Specifies the priority of the neighboring Intermediate System for becoming the Designated Intermediate System. |
HoldTimer |
Specifies the holding time in seconds for this adjacency. This value is based on received IS-IS Hello (IIH) PDUs and the elapsed time since receipt. |
NeighSysID |
Specifies the system ID of the neighboring Intermediate System. |
AdjHostName |
Specifies the host name listed in the LSP, or the IS-IS system name. The IS-IS system name uses global system name, if host name is not configured. |
ParallelActive |
Specifies if the current adjacency among all the parallel adjacencies between two nodes is active. This field also indicates if the adjacency is a backup. |
